Here's John sleeping at home. This is how he seems to spend most of his days so far.

"Shhh shhh shhh" is what Brielle says whenever John is sleeping.

Wecome to the world, John Joseph!

He was born yesterday, June 19th at 12:08 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 10 oz and was 22 inches long. Everyone in the family is doing great, and we're so happy Johnny is here.

And here she is on her tiptoes asking for one more drink. Of course Tim had to lift her up to the fountain at least four times. The front of her shirt was nice and wet by the time we left!

7 am smile

I took this photo yesterday morning at 7am... although we have to wake her up on workdays in order to get out of the house on time, she's a happy girl. She was grabbing a drink of milk before heading to Becky's house. Look how long her hair is getting! We're considering getting it trimmed for the summer... to even it up and keep her a bit cooler... and then combing the snarls out might be easier for Mom.

A ride on the slide

We bought this play center at Target this year... 50% off after Christmas! Brielle is becoming quite the climber now... and building her upper body strength (check out how she hangs on after falling back a little when she climbs the steps). Her cousins, Pierce (23 months) and Wilson (4 years old), were over to play for a little while yesterday.

First 2008 dip in the Mississippi

Last summer was Brielle's first experience with the Mississippi, but she's a lot more interested this year. We have a feeling it's going to be hard to keep her away from the water! :)
