Friday scooter walk

Most Fridays I am home with our 3 kids.  Here is how we spent our morning a few weeks ago:

Brielle & John received new Razor scooters at Easter.  They love them!  Several kids in the neighborhood have them too, and it has been a great way for the kids to have fun, be active, and improve their balance.  Both Brielle & John have improved so much in the weeks that they have had the scooters.

John wanted to bring a backpack along- I think he insisted he needed some toys for our adventure :)

By this point, they were walking and I had the scooters! (Stay tuned for how I managed that)

Ted enjoyed our walk too

The stroller worked great for carrying the scooters, backpack, and other gear, as the weather warmed up and they took off their layers.

Brielle drew an updated family photo

From when Ted was just 2 days old, one of John & Brielle's cousins- Carter- started calling Ted "Teddy Bear."  The nickname has stuck and it's pretty cute hearing John, Brielle, and many of the cousins say "Teddy Bear."

It even inspired this latest family drawing by Brielle...

From left to right in Brielle's words: "Daddy, a stuffed animal, Teddy Bear, Brielle, Ted, John, Mommy."

Another smile with dimples

Aunt Jenny gave Ted this adorable elephant shirt-- she wanted a photo of him in it.  I took, oh probably 50 photos ... here are my favorites :)

Must have been a good (baptism) party...

... because he was all smiles at the end of the day!

Soccer!

John & Brielle participated on their first soccer team this spring. It was a U5 team and Tim & I were the coaches.  They had a lot of fun!  There were a couple games where Brielle scored at least 5 goals each time :).  John ran around with a smile on his face, following the ball and kicking it when he could.

(that little boy looks like John, but it's not)

When Brielle first saw these medals, she called them "soccer necklaces" :)
