A little taste of Vietnam

Jef picked up these authentic outfits for John & Brielle when he was in Vietnam last year. They had fun dressing up in them today. Thanks, Jef!

John's hat has a single long, black braid coming out of it. You might notice it in the video below also.

Fun at Becky's house

Brielle & John get to make all kinds of creative artwork at Becky's house. They are so proud to bring home their work and show us. I'll ask Brielle, "Did you make that?" While she is telling me about it, John loves to chime in, "I DO ARTWORK!"

Little sluggers: Pierce (almost 4), Lincoln (2), and John (almost 2). Both Pierce & John have June birthdays that are coming up.

I bet that was an intense game of catch! We'll have to get another photo like this in, say, 10 years :)!

Little Eagles Track Meet 2010

Tim helped organize and run a track meet for kids in grades 1st through 5th.

I was out of town---so thanks, Jolene, for these photos :).

Looks like Brielle didn't want to leave Josie's side :).

Tim even added an event for the younger kids- a 25 meter dash. Tim said Brielle & John did a lot of running around while they were there, but when it came time for the 25 meter dash, they chose to just hold onto his leg.

Brielle and Josie enjoyed their 'chick' cupcakes :). Josie just turned 5 this week!

Grow, grow, grow

Earlier this year, we came across some extra soil & pots from Grandma Carol. Tim let Brielle & John pick packets of flower seeds & pea seeds from Lowe's. Tim & the kids then planted the seeds during the spring. To make it even more interesting... as he always does :)... Tim chopped up a pepper & planted it. He did the same with a tomato & strawberries. The strawberries didn't work and we're not sure yet about the pepper. But our pea plants are doing great, the flower plants are growing, and a tomato plant is growing. The kids enjoy watering the plants every day, and they ate their first pea pods yesterday :).
