Family Photo- stripes :)

Some morning when we are getting ready for church, Brielle has ideas for us to all match or wear similar colors.  She is quite the little "planner and organizer" sometimes.  This day, we all decided to wear some sort of stripes.

John & Brielle got these Razor scooters at Easter time. They have really gotten very good on their scooters- and even show us tricks with their balance- such as Brielle wrapping her leg.  They have gotten SO much use out of their scooters... in both our neighborhood and at Grandma Carol's & Grandpa Ted's house.

Fishing and a Gar!

One of the fun activities at Frentress involves walking with this fishing net and trying to catch various small fish.  The kids will spend long periods of time working together.  Some will walk with the net while others wait to check the net and transfer any caught fish into a bucket full of water.

On this day, John & Tim caught a gar!

A day with Patrick & Brady

John & Brielle had a fun day with Patrick & Brady.  It was a Sports Camp Olympics Day, so since that is a busy day for their Dads it was a perfect day to visit the farm & Frentress!

Ted in the Umbrella Stroller

One of his first rides in the umbrella stroller :)

Even this girl needs a nap sometimes :)

Relaxing in the Hammock

Ted's 1st haircut

So even though he wasn't even 4 months old yet (!), Ted's hair could be brushed forward past his eyebrows and covering part of his ear:

So we decided it was time for a haircut from Daddy

Much better!  But he looks like such a "little man" now!

3 1/2 months in his crib

Spending more time on his tummy.
Check out how long his hair is... and stay tuned...

Frentress 4th of July Parade

Ted participated in his 1st Fourth of July Parade this year.  It was SOOO hot!

June Birthday Party

John chose a treasure chest for his 4th birthday cake this year.  He was very excited about all the "extra things" in his cake.  Heather made excellent cakes again for us!

The June & July birthdays recognized included: John, Pierce, Tina, Emma, Ellen, Josie, Matt & Carter.

It was a gorgeous day, perfect for lots of fun at Frentress.

The birthday boy even got a much needed nap in during the day :)
He slept on this chair for at least an hour!

A favorite of Ted

One of our favorite photos of Ted from this summer.... :)

Gymnastics

Here are Brielle & John before gymnastics.  They participated in a summer gymnastics program and both really enjoyed it!

7 years!

Here is our "7 year anniversary photo" from July 2nd... a couple months ago.  We have made it a tradition to take a photo on our anniversary.  Each year we hold up the number of fingers to signify the year.  And EVERY year so far, Tim has put on that same green shirt :)

J & B Waterskiing

This was the first time the kids "waterskied" since last year.

John was all over it!  He did 4 lengths of the Lake on his first go at it!  He was smiling and looking very comfortable.  He did a great job keeping his balance when it got bumpy.  After the 4 lengths, we slowed down and pulled him in... realizing we didn't give him a "stop signal" but we didn't want to push it until he wasn't smiling anymore.  He had a blast and was ready for his next turn after Brielle.

Then Brielle went.  She did about 2 lengths of the lake.  While we watched John earlier, I taught her the stop signal, but I could tell she didn't want to take a hand off the handle.  So she was trying to yell to us instead :).  We slowed down and pulled her in.  She was all smiles and had a great time.  After Brielle, John went one more time for another lap.

This heron was hanging out almost the whole time we were out and the kids kept watching it.

Then we hooked up the 3-person tube for some more fun.  They were loving the bumps.  Brielle kept doing the "turn signal" because she wanted Grandpa Ted to turn so she could ride over more bumpy water.  It was morning and we had the water mostly to ourselves... that was wonderful!

More summer art

Our neighbor Sydney joined in on the art project fun on this day.  Another day when Mom was at work, and Dad was at home.  (So credit to Tim for some great photos!)

Tummy time fun

Tummy time is a whole lot more fun when your big sis provides some entertainment :)

Ted's first boat ride

Not quite enough room in this life jacket for those CHEEKS! :)
