This was the first time the kids "waterskied" since last year.
John was all over it! He did 4 lengths of the Lake on his first go at it! He was smiling and looking very comfortable. He did a great job keeping his balance when it got bumpy. After the 4 lengths, we slowed down and pulled him in... realizing we didn't give him a "stop signal" but we didn't want to push it until he wasn't smiling anymore. He had a blast and was ready for his next turn after Brielle.
Then Brielle went. She did about 2 lengths of the lake. While we watched John earlier, I taught her the stop signal, but I could tell she didn't want to take a hand off the handle. So she was trying to yell to us instead :). We slowed down and pulled her in. She was all smiles and had a great time. After Brielle, John went one more time for another lap.
This heron was hanging out almost the whole time we were out and the kids kept watching it.
Then we hooked up the 3-person tube for some more fun. They were loving the bumps. Brielle kept doing the "turn signal" because she wanted Grandpa Ted to turn so she could ride over more bumpy water. It was morning and we had the water mostly to ourselves... that was wonderful!
