Brielle was invited to her first "friend birthday party." A neighborhood girl, Julia, was turning 4 and invited a small group of girls over for a couple of hours. Brielle was excited from the second the invitation came in the mail with her name on it. The invitation said that she could come dressed as a princess. Brielle had to decide between Belle and Ariel. She was pretty set on dressing as Belle, but did say, "Maybe I can bring my Ariel dress along just in case." (sounds like her mother, being overprepared.)
So when party time approached, Tim was in charge since Kristen was at work. Brielle talked him through everything she wanted to do: paint her nails, wear a crown, put eyeshadow on, put sparkles on her cheeks, and apply lipstick. She knew which color lipstick she wanted and even told him how she has to kiss the tissue to get the extra off :). Look at the nice braid Tim put in her hair too!
Tim dropped her off at the party... and returned 2 hours later. Brielle filled us in on all the details... the craft projects, the food they ate, and the goodies they brought home. She had a wonderful time.
