Nativity Tea Party

Along with Jolene and her 3 oldests girls, we attended a Nativity Tea Party for girls at Sinsinawa Mound.  It was the first time they hosted this event, but it was wonderfully planned and well attended.

The girls could bring their dolls along to the tea party.  It was a very sweet afternoon to spend with our girls, and we look forward to going next year.

McKenna, Brielle, Josephina and Josie at the tea party:

A few days before the event, Brielle asked me very seriously, "Mom, what does tea taste like?"  I instantly knew she was thinking that at the upcoming tea party, she would have to drink some tea.  I probably laughed a little, but then answered that there would probably be many drinks that little girls would like.

Case in point:  hot cocoa with cinnamon sticks and marshmallows :)
