The white trail running up the mountain is the path the Gondola takes.
After picking up a lot of pine cones on our way, we finally reached Lake Tahoe. The crystal clear water is beautiful! The kids had fun stepping the toes of their boots in. They also got to watch some ducks come & go. There was playground equipment too, that they played on for awhile before we walked back to our hotel.
